With over 25 years of experience in real estate law and title insurance, Mayra Hernandez is a seasoned real estate paralegal known for her expertise in guiding transactions from contract to closing. At Lopez Teal Real Estate Law & Title, she plays a vital role in ensuring seamless closings, assisting clients with contracts, title commitments, and reconciliations.

Before joining Lopez Teal, Mayra spent 23 years as a Real Estate Paralegal and Office Manager at Gastesi & Associates, P.A. She later worked as a trainer for Attorney Title Insurance Fund, where she educated attorneys and paralegals on real estate software and title policies. Her extensive knowledge and hands-on experience allow her to support clients through the most complex transactions.

Beyond her work in real estate law, Mayra is also a licensed Real Estate Broker, Real Estate Agent and Real Estate Instructor. Her passion for the industry extends beyond her paralegal role, as she actively assists homebuyers and agents alike. In 2023, she was recognized with a Million Dollar Sales Award for selling over $2.8 million in home sales.

Mayra believes in creating a supportive and collaborative environment, whether it’s helping clients navigate the closing process or mentoring agents to succeed. She is a frequent attendee of Women’s Council of Realtors events in St. Lucie County and takes pride in fostering strong professional relationships.

A Miami native with Puerto Rican roots, Mayra balances her professional life with a passion for pickleball—playing every chance she gets. She also strongly believes in kindness, both toward animals and people.
